I hold a doctorate in counselling psychology, with chartered psychologist status with the British Psychological Society, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Apart from my private practice work, I have also worked in the NHS in an IAPT service, seeing a diverse range of clients. Whilst in training, I had a number of placements within the NHS, including within a perinatal service, and in a project for people with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I also had a placement in a charity for women suffering from domestic abuse. I have been seeing clients with a range of issues in my private practice for the last five years.
Issues I have experience with include:
- panic attacks
- low self-esteem
- low self-confidence
- fertility issues
- work related issues
- relationship issues
- experience of domestic abuse
I also specialise in perinatal issues – please see the perinatal service section on this website.
In addition to my clinical experience, I have also had personal therapy lasting for four years during my training.
